Despite what the description says, this book does not have everything you need to know. In only 12 pages, how could it? I'd say there is a decent base of information here but the author doesn't cover protecting your plants from diseases, insects, birds and other animals. And very little on soil specifics. There's a section on soil ph but doesn't tell you how to check it or fix it based on the ph that you might find. Having lost entire crops of berries, I was looking for some information on protecting my harvest. But I didn't find it here. And the author suggests making money by selling your crop to a local restaurant. That's not backyard gardening, that's farming. The overall writing was decent but I've seen far better books on the subject than this one.Product details
